The SIP TACHO KARACHO is a speedometer with tachometer from SIP PERFORMANCE for Vespa PX80-200 E Lusso/'98/MY/'11, also suitable for Vespa GTV/GT 60 from 125 to 300 cc. Since their introduction in 2010, SIP tachometers with tachometer have radically changed the market. Functions that previously could only be achieved by inserting numerous additional devices have now been combined in a single instrument, and in an unobtrusive manner. A small push button allows an elegant change between the different displays. It can be mounted discreetly above or below the light switch. A little extra: every time you start the engine, the tachometer performs a self-test and creates a touch of Grand Prix feeling. As an analog display, you can select either speed or rpm. Then the speedometer needle shows either rpm or speed. We have also developed two versions of the TACHO KARACHO: one up to 100 and one up to 160, to offer a wide range of displays also for the MPH market. On longer routes, another function comes in handy: you can distinguish between two individual distances with travel time and average speed, perfect for distinguishing between daily distances and tours. But it is also possible to set the total distance, so that the kilometers traveled on the old speedometer can be recorded without any problems. NOTE Always use spark plugs and spark plugs with interference suppression. INSTALLATION Installing this speedometer is a breeze. As with the original, the speed is determined via the speedometer cable, but there is also the option of using a speed sensor, which can be purchased as a spare part. So if the speedometer cable is worn out or broken, the display will still be reliable and functional. By the way, the speed is recorded via the light signal. There is no danger of data being lost. Thanks to an internal memory, all information is safe. The speedometers work on 12V AC/DC, which means no battery is needed. SIP Performance/Vespatronic/Parmakit ignitions can be connected. In combination with the VAPE SIP PERFORMANCE ignition, the KOSO signal filter must be used with the DC version or the brown wire of the SIP tachometer must be connected to the white wire of the SIP/VAPE CDI. Change the ignition pulse of the tachometer to 1 (for DC) or 6 (for AC).
