DIGITAL TESTER Coil and Control Unit Tester New high voltage coil test bench tester in a sturdy compact case. Its light weight makes it transportable and portable and the rechargeable battery power supply allows it to be used in any situation. The adjustable engine speed visible on the digital display allows for an accurate test both at minimum rpm (450/min) and at maximum (6000/min). Checking the quality of the tested product is quick and easy thanks to the high voltage spark visible between the two tips. Procedure: Insert the spark plug cable on the coil to be tested, not necessary if the coil to be tested has a built-in spark plug cable, insert it into the terminal of the tips. From the connection with the two terminals, connect the black to ground and the red to the positive of the coil. Turn on the tester with the ON/TEST button. The display turns on and prepares for the test, at this point press the ON/TEST button again to start the test. If the coil is working we immediately see the spark between the tips, at this point I can also vary the number of engine revolutions thanks to the potentiometer to check the performance from minimum to maximum revolutions. The spark must be blue and constant without loss of strokes. To interrupt the test simply press the ON/TEST button or the OFF button. Important: do not touch the coil during the test to avoid getting an electric shock. Important: carry out the test away from other electronic devices, at least 1 meter.
