AIR BOX FILTER: these are special sponge air filters; before use, moisten them with a light film of filter oil and check the carburetor calibration. BLUE AIR BOX: to assemble this special filter, you can choose between two different options; you can mount it with its plastic cover or simply leave it uncovered. Regardless of the choice made, you will always have to check the carburetor calibration. Attention! Once the cover has been mounted on the filter, disassembly is difficult; therefore, be careful because the two parts could be damaged. We recommend using a small screwdriver to lever between the two components to facilitate unblocking. SPONGE AIR FILTER (sponge for original filters): the capacity to retain fine dust can be significantly increased by impregnating the filter with specific filter oil. This means wetting the material in oil and then squeezing it to eliminate the excess oil, thus significantly increasing the dust accumulation capacity thanks to the "adhesive" effect especially for the finest dust that would "escape" the dry filter. Once the filter is exhausted, it can be cleaned by washing and blowing it with compressed air. This operation allows the filter to be partially recovered but does not completely regenerate the efficiency of the new filter, because inevitably some particles, especially the fine ones, remain trapped in the mesh.
