"Fuel Economy" engine oil, 100% synthetic, created specifically for the latest Diesel or petrol engines, aspirated or supercharged, direct or indirect injection, which require the use of low friction oil and very low HT-HS viscosity. Suitable for the most modern vehicles with turbo Diesel or petrol engines that require fuel saving lubricants (ACEA A1/B1 or ACEA A5/B5 specifications). Compatible with catalytic converters. Suitable for all types of fuel: leaded or unleaded petrol, methane, LPG, Diesel and biofuels. Before use, refer to the vehicle's use and maintenance manual. MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 has excellent lubricating properties such as wear resistance and stability at high temperatures, which allow to reduce oil consumption and fuel consumption by 10% during start-up and short trips in the city (compared to a reference oil 15W-40). The API SP specification is backwards compatible with the API SN specification and all previous API standards. The API SP specification is more stringent in terms of energy efficiency. The API SN specification provides exceptional oxidation resistance, improved deposit protection, improved engine cleanliness, wear protection and very good cold oil performance throughout the drain interval. In addition to being backwards compatible with API SN and SN Plus, the API SP specification provides increased performance and special protection against low speed knocking (LSPI) in compact direct injection turbocharged petrol engines. Renault has developed the RN0700 specification for lubricants capable of withstanding the most severe thermal conditions together with compatibility with modern exhaust gas after-treatment systems. The Renault RN0700 specification applies to all naturally aspirated petrol engines (except Renault Sport) of the Renault group (Renault, Dacia, Samsung). The RN0700 specification also applies to all Renault Diesel cars with 1.5 dCi engines without a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) with less than 100PS output and with a drain interval of 20,000 km or 1 year. Specifically developed to meet the latest technical requirements for Ford Petrol and Diesel engines where a lubricant meeting the FORD WSS M2C 913D specification is required. The FORD WSS M2C 913D specification is backward compatible with the previous FORD WSS M2C 913A, 913B and 913C. The JLR specification «03.5003» mirrors the FORD WSS M2C 913 C standard and covers certain Diesel and Petrol applications of JAGUAR and LAND ROVER engines. The FORD WSS M2C 913D specification also requires improved soot control capability compared to 913C. The special dispersant formulation of the product prevents the formation of sludge and the increase in viscosity that soot, coming from combustion chamber residues, could cause. Thanks to these properties, high resistance to high temperatures and oxidation are ensured during the entire drain interval and the engine is always protected. In accordance with the requirements of the ACEA A5/B5 specification, the product provides real performance in terms of energy saving (up to 3% fuel economy), helping to meet FORD's commitment to reducing CO2 emissions. The 913D specification also requires a high resistance of the lubricating film capable of maintaining stable viscosity qualities during the entire drain interval. This feature is even more important in the current context of environmental sustainability and the use of biofuels such as biodiesel. The MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 product guarantees high properties such as wear resistance when using biodiesel up to a mixing percentage of 7% (Biodiesel - B7). The FIAT 9.55535-G1 performance level requires a lubricant that is at the same time ACEA A5/B5, API SL, with a viscosity of 5W-30, to work on some FIAT and JEEP petrol engines. Within the FCA group (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), the CHRYSLER MS 50081 specification replicates the FIAT 9.55535-G1 specification on CHRYSLER. This type of lubricant allows a reduction in fuel consumption and therefore contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) for better environmental protection. Drain interval: in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and to be adapted according to use. MOTUL 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 can be mixed with synthetic and mineral oils. Before use, always refer to the vehicle's user and maintenance manual.
