POLINI CRANKSHAFTS FOR VESPA 125 ET3: PERFORMANCE CARE Two Polini crankshafts for Vespa 125 ET3. Evolution Model: The "Evolution" crankshaft has the same stroke as the original shaft, specific for rotating disc admission, but with a modified admission diagram to achieve maximum performance. The particular study of the geometry of the half-shafts and the positioning of tungsten counterweights with high specific weight and resin guarantee a drastic reduction in vibrations even at the speeds reachable with the most powerful conversions. Evolution Full Shoulders Model The "Evolution Full Shoulders" crankshaft can only be used if the engine is equipped with a cylinder with reed valve admission. Equipped with increased bearing capacities, it stands out for its circular cleavers with tungsten and resin inserts to optimize balance. The shape of the circular cleavers drastically reduces internal turbulence in the crankcase, increasing the compression of the gases transmitted to the head for the explosion phase. To mount it, it is mandatory to bore the crankcase. The Polini Evolution Full-Spaced crankshaft increases the stroke to 52.8mm. The connecting rod is machined from solid with a 102mm wheelbase. The assembly of this new spare part allows to reach a displacement of 135cc. in accordance with the regulations for use in acceleration races.
