The range is expanded with the new Polini CPs which guarantee easy assembly on the 16.16 manifold The Polini CPs have a rigid connection and are specifically developed to be mounted on the legendary Vespa 50 Special, PK, XL, HP, FL2. The connection between the manifold and the carburetor is rigid with a clamp closure like the original mounted on the Vespa 50 and they are supplied complete with an air filter box with increased intake. It is available in diameter 17.5. The very short intake duct stands out for its exclusive concentric design and a geometry capable of optimising air flow during the gas transit phase.The fuel overflow into the atomizer is designed to ensure correct flow dynamics at every throttle opening position. The fuel inlet hole and the larger needle allow for constant fuel intake even in the most extreme conditions of use. The float level, completely made of plastic, and the tightness of the pin, are carefully checked during production to ensure the same standard of efficiency over time. These features make it significantly easier to fine-tune the carburetor calibration. Thanks to the extremely refined calibration scheme, the fuel-air flows, maximum jet and minimum jet have been designed to have maximum performance with lower fuel consumption.The compact size of the new carburetor required careful and meticulous management of the internal space and maximum efficiency of all components, subjected to strict thousandths checks.
