The epic of the Vespa acrobats told by Giuseppe Cau and Ilo Lorenzetti, two of the protagonists of that fantastic adventure, which lasted over fifteen years. It all began in 1952 from an idea of the engineer. Vittorio Casini, who is looking for yet another way to prove that the Vespa is an extraordinary vehicle, with which you can really do anything. After demonstrating its speed and reliability, the Piaggio technicians create a patrol of men, chosen from among the test drivers, who travel around Europe and drive the crowds crazy with their exploits. Which may appear extreme, but in reality they are the result of careful technical preparation and a great sense of collective. Every event that hosts the performances of the acrobatic team, in Italy and abroad, finds a fantastic added value in the spectacle that the white overalls with the blue brand offer to enthusiasts and the curious. From 1952 to 1968 Cau, Chiarugi, Nesti, Cipolli, Lorenzetti and many others had fun and had fun. Their memories and images are contained here to preserve another chapter in the Great History of the Vespa.
