Semi-synthetic multigrade engine oil formulated for Modern Classic & Youngtimer vehicles from the 70s, 80s and 90s, equipped with 4-stroke engines, Diesel or Petrol, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, injected or carburettor.API SL SPECIFICATIONS Semi-synthetic engine oil, Motul Classic Eighties 10W-40 is formulated with modern technology detergent additives perfectly adapted to the requirements of vintage engines (original or rebuilt), offering protection even during extended periods of inactivity. To match the advanced engine technologies of the time, the product is formulated with high levels of Zinc (ZDDP content is around 1800 ppm) and Molybdenum (Moly) to balance protection and performance in naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines of that historical period. Its unique formulation is reinforced with a synthetic base to offer excellent cold flow properties to prevent engine wear at start-up. Motul Classic Eighties 10W-40 has a modern formulation adapted to the needs of vintage engines that uses a synthetic base resistant to oxidation that allows to maintain stable viscosity and oil pressure as well as generating an extra oil film resistant to high temperatures.
